If you've stopped at dowsing for your first foray into the psychic, you've made the right choice! Dowsing is perhaps one of the easiest divination techniques to master - it can take just five minutes!

Read below and have a go yourself (remembering my warning about lottery numbers). You will find you can probably do it straight away. One other word of warning: it's addictive! I have known people who have used divination to determine if they should buy a loaf of bread! Don't feel you have to consult it for everything and don't assume it is always 100% correct every time. As with all types of divination - you still require common sense!

Practical Pendulum: In five minutes!

Get a pendulum, or thread a ring on a piece of string.
Hold the string between your thumb and forefinger.
Put your hand underneath the pendulum, leaving space for it to swing.
Now ask the pendulum to show you ‘Yes’.
Watch carefully – the pendulum will swing of its own accord*!
Note the direction of the swing: clockwise, anti-clockwise, etc.
Stop the pendulum. Now repeat asking for ‘No’. Note direction of swing.
Now repeat asking for ‘Maybe’. Note direction of swing.
You can now ask your pendulum questions.
A final tip – DO NOT bother using it for lottery numbers. It won’t work!

*Approximately 80% of people, in my experience, can do this straight away!
