This is where you deal with your profile out there in the world. The element is for this corner is water, the number is one and the colour is black, or dark blue. The shape is “all shapes and none”. To fit this description, I can only think of the Sydney Opera House – a water building if ever there was one. You can use actual water (a dark blue floating candle in a glass bowl?) or clear glass. Quartz crystal, like all crystals is actually earth. Best not to use it here because earth controls water. It could be useful if your career is taking off so fast it is scaring you and you want to contain it, but you can always plant something heavy for stability in the corner instead.
To get things going in your Career Corner, you could use a picture featuring water. But be careful: think what you want! A storm at sea might not be the best model for your career . . . a still pond is all right if you want peace and quiet but not if you want an exciting career to take off. For the fruits of success in your career a picture of your ship coming in, is ideal. For a change (and if you get seasick!), use a picture of one of those Chinese horses, but make sure it's black (see picture right). Most importantly, make sure its movement reflects how you see your career going.
Are you currently stuck in a rut or unemployed? Metal creates water. Use this knowledge to get yourself off to a flying start. Put your picture in a silver or gold (gold coloured – you aren’t made of money yet!) frame instead of black or blue, or use the round coin shape in gold, silver or white.
 Think of other corners you may need to energise to help you along. Fortunate Blessings is always useful to enhance your Career Corner and you can find details of how to do that if you return to the Feng Shui page. You might like to try Fame with Career instead, though. If you are self employed, this is a good way to swell your client list. Alternatively, you might like to enhance your Knowledge Corner or Creativity Corner. I don’t advocate just activating every corner willy nilly, though, but if you have a lead corner (choose your major need) you can assist it by what you do in the others.Have fun with it and watch things slot into place!
