Hare Moon Month (00:00 - May 1st, 2011)

May is traditionally a time for romance, as April 30 / May 1st is Beltane, the marriage of the God and Goddess. May Day has always been a time for fertility rituals - the UK Maypole is one example. The Hare is a potent symbol of the goddess and also the fecundity of nature and connects with these fertility rites, hence the name of this month's moon.
